Free At Last, Free At Last!!!!!

I recently met a lovely woman by the name of Debroah Olsen, who charges $10 an hour to do any cleaning job under the sun! Ms. Olsen has been visiting my house for 8 hours a day twice a month, and has cleaned all my windows inside and out, washed all my doors, baseboards, changed sheets, mopped, dusted you name it this woman did it and all for $10 an hour, I'm in love! I never thought it would be this great to be free to come home and only focus on doing the things that I want to do, which, by the way, does not include scrubbing toilets!!

Ivan and I spent a couple of hours last night scrapbooking! I've not touched his scrapbook in about a year, yes I know I'm terrible! But this week I've done 4 whole pages!! I'm almost caught up. Ivan loves to "help", especially using the cropper. Last night he used up half of a glue stick and "cropped" one of my favorite pictures right in half! I'm going to buy him his own scrapbooking tools today!

We have ate so many watermelons this year, I think last week we had one a week! I think I could dedicate a whole scrapbook page just to watermelon eating!! But, school has started back, and the fair is in town, and summer is coming to a close. We didn't get to do everything I wanted to do this summer, and it seemed to go by so fast!! However I am ready for the fall!!!

Buzz lightyear to the Rescue....

Ivan has come to love Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear!! Santa Claus is bringing him the Buzz toy for Christmas, I think he'll love this. We have been watching Toy Story 1 (his favorite) everyday to and from school for about a month. I tried to put in Finding Nemo last week just for a change and he cried all the way to school for Toy Story!

We both have all the words memorized. He throws out Toy Story quotes out of the blue now. My favorite is "I'm Buzz Lightyear and I come in Pace (Ivan's version of Peace)". It's so funny. And of course before he jumps into the swimming pool it's always "To Infineon (Ivan's version of Infinity) and beyond."

The Disney store has a Buzz costume I'm thinking about for Halloween, it's almost that time of year again!!

Getting ready for deer season...

Well we all made a trip to the deer farm this weekend, and Joey got a little bit of work done while Ivan and I played. Ivan and I rode the Kawasaki Mule around the woods almost all day and Ivan loved it. We saw 2 turkeys, about 4 deer, a rattlesnake (yes he and I ran up on a pretty large rattlesnake.. EEEE!!), some hogs, an armadillo, and some coon dogs. We picked a watermelon and threw it to the hogs and Ivan laughed so hard at them, he thought watching them eat was so funny! But mommy was about to puke so we had to leave! We ran up on the rattle snake as we were driving down the road. We stopped to let it pass and then it curled up and stuck it's head out at us so we took off!!

Ivan and I slept on the top bunk bed, I just knew one of us was going to end up on the floor but we actually slept really good! He thought this was cool!
On the way home he got car sick and it was the biggest mess!!! He hasn't thew up in a long time so I think it scared him!

All in all we had a good weekend at the deer farm and everyone is ready for deer season!

So......

So.... It's been a while. Thought I would post a quick entry on our Sea World Vacation. We really liked Sea World, especially the Dolphin and Whale show! Ivan was not a fan of the beach, he couldn't stand for the sand to be on his hands. And he was scared of the waves in the ocean. He did enjoy putting seashells in his bucket though. I think he enjoyed finding girlfriends at the hotel pool more than anything! On the last day he told me he wanted to go to his house so I think it was enough excitement for him!
