Holiday Recap

Well here are finally some pictures of Ivan as Buzz Lightyear. We took him to his Halloween carnival at his school and he had more fun this year. Last year seeing all his teachers dressed up kinda freaked him out! This year was our first year to Trick Or Treat, we took him to Fayetteville to a nice neighborhood that Joey had worked on some houses in. We had so much fun, I think I loved it as much as Ivan did! Before he would knock on the door if people had plants or mums sitting on their front porch he had to smell those first! And you had to watch him, he didn't want to knock he just wanted to walk on up and open the people's door!

I guess it was also about this time that we found out we're pregnant, due in June! We broke the news to the family before we came home for Thanksgiving. We decided it would be more fun to let Ivan do the honors so I purchased him a shirt that said "I'm going to be a big brother"! I go back to the doctor the day after Christmas and then I'll schedule an appointment for my ultrasound, which should be around the middle of January!
I think Ivan is excited about the baby. He's been asking alot of questions lately, i.e.... How is the baby going to come out of your belly? Well honey the doctor is going to take the baby out for mommy... How is the doctor going to get him out? I don't know, but he'll find someway to get it out of there I promise... Is my baby going to be here on Tuesday? Well I hope not... And on and on and on... He's also been asking if the can lay on the baby or give it a good night kiss and things like that. I think he's really going to be amazed when it starts kicking and he can see it moving. We're thinking about taking him along for the ultrasound. Of course I want a girl and Joey wants a boy! We haven't talked about names yet because all of the ones I bring up Joey hates! And I don't like what he comes up with either! I let him name Ivan so I'm saying this one I get to choose! Ivan is going to have a great Christmas, Santa has some big plans for him!!!
