Ivan and I went to the Drive Thru Safari this weekend, it was pretty cool. They had lots of animals roaming free around the place, except for the ones that could possibly eat small children, which is good! At one point we pulled up along a ravine and Ivan seen some mountain goats (?? or something of the sort), he asked me what they were and I told him. Then he screams at them, "Hey, what do you give us?", obviously we have sang Hi-Ho the Dairy-o way too many times!!He got to pet a monkey, but I could not convince him to ride the camel or pet the snake. And out of all of the exotic animals the only thing he was really scared of was some sort of Minature Donkey, he hunkered down in the floor of the truck and would not stand up until we had passed them! I have to say they did seem a little strange.
This is Brady!! Ivan LOVES her... Along with Brenna, Autumn, Makayla, etc... What a little stud muffin!!
Ivan had a great time at Easter! We have enough eggs full of candy to last us all year! He even got to pet a real bunny that his friend Jackson got for Easter, but he didn't like it's eye bugers (don't ask me that's what he said)! We had a great time visiting family and Ivan was wore out on the way home, he was pretty quiet all the way home! And mommy even got an Easter gift on the way home, a Fast Driving Award for 76 in a 55. Yippee!!
Well it's time for Turkey Season once again. Ivan and I had the house to ourselves this weekend! As Ivan says, "Daddy's going to Georgia's house to turkey hunt." We went to Cass to visit Joey on Saturday afternoon. There's a pretty nice campground where he stays, this is where they have the Extreme Truck Races in the spring, Will would love this! There is a creek and of course Ivan had to strip all of his clothes off and jump in because Makayla did (this is our 9 year old neighbor, watch out Brady!)!! Too Cold for ME!!! A Medivac Helicopter landed nearby and we went to see what was going on. They were showing it off to some medical students, but of course Ivan had to get in it. A little old man lifted him and put him in the drivers seat, he ATE IT UP!!! He had a big ol' grin on his face and the Newspaper photographer took his picture. So I'll be looking for his picture in the paper. He actually let me cut his hair with the clipper thingy! Slightly gapped up but not to bad for my first time if I do say so myself!! Yesterday we went shopping and bought him a new Easter suit and a hat! He was such a good boy!
Saturday was a warm and windy day! Ivan flew his Elmo kite, I'm suprised it didn't get him airbornne as windy as it was! He gets a big kick out of it, I think he can fly it better than me!
We went and watched the Razorback baseball game Saturday afternoon, and guess who showed up and sat next to us???? Brady! Ivan's girlfriend from school. They had a blast, you couldn't keep them off of each other. Brady is Maddie's age, one month younger than Ivan. They love each other!!! But they were a little much to handle, we left in the 5th inning, didn't see much of the game!
