My First Pony....

Tail, that is... Aubree's hair is finally long enough, I put it in a little pony tail this morning. I don't know how long it stayed there, but here it is....

And Ivan left early this morning with his daddy for a turkey hunting trip. This was his first real turkey hunt. They didn't kill one, but sounds like they had a great time. They were making a fire and roasting marshallows a couple of hours ago, wish I was there with them... :( Guess somebody had to make the money.

Memphis zoo

Mom and I took the kids to the Memphis Zoo today, then we went to Overton Park and had a picnic. The weather is beautiful today, we just came in the house and we have all the windows up and a nice breeze is blowing through. We got there as soon as they opened and that's the thing to do, when we left about 1:00, I could not believe the traffic lined up to get in that place. This was Aubree's first visit to a zoo, and she did okay, but she is a free spirit and wanted to run everywhere. We had to keep her in the stroller and that got old for her pretty quick. Ivan has been to the Memphis zoo once before and to the Tulsa zoo once. Here are some pics, couldn't get Ivan to smile in most of the pics, but he had a really good time.

Girl's Night

Well Aubree and I had a girl's night yesterday, it was a nice and relaxing night... Ivan goes to church with his Meemaw Bakes and spends the night on Wednesday nights, and Joey was away turkey hunting.

I love baby toes!!!! You can tell it if you look at the pictures hanging on my walls. Of all the pictures I have had professionally made of the kids I think they've only had shoes on once. Needless to say I am sooo happy that I can now paint baby toes without being guilted into having to remove it, for some reason Joey was never too happy when I used to paint Ivan's. We also spent a long time in the tub, since we were in no rush...

Pouty Girl!

Don't tell me this girl doesn't know how to put that bottom lip to good use! Notice how far it's pouched out there. I forgot I took this pic the other day after church when she got upset that mom wasn't leaving with us. I had to throw it up here, she's got the look down pat!

Easter Sunday

Well, Easter Sunday was a complete rainout, cold and stormy when we got out of church. The kids had already hunted eggs twice, so they weren't too upset that they didn't get to on Sunday. It was a good Easter indoors!! Here are a few pics...
