Another shopping cart episode

I took Ivan to Target last weekend, and I know I told him to sit down at least 200 times. Well he was standing in the bottom part of the buggy when we strolled over to the toy aisle. He reached up and leaned over the buggy to get a toy off the shelf and I guess he was a little top heavy and tumbled right out head first. I just knew he had broken his neck. He landed square on the top of his head, and his foot hung for a second on the side of the cart he even lost his shoe. So I'm in the floor trying to keep him from moving his neck, and he's screaming bloody murder with his mouth full of blood. He bit a chunk out of his tonge when he fell. Well he finally got stood up and through his tears he says, "Momma I think I broke everything." So no permanent damage was done thanks to the genetic hard head. I think we both learned a lesson from this one!!

Easter/Baby Shower Pics

It was a chilly Easter this year! We managed to do a couple of quick egg hunts at Meemaw's and Grandma Whetsel's house. Ivan had a fun trip as always, playing with his cousins & meemaw's!

And I had a great baby shower, got some nice things for Aubree! Thanks Hollie!
